DPH Information Technology (DPH-IT) serves the Public Health user community by providing innovative, contemporary and accessible technology in computing, media and communication services so the user community can more effectively meet its goals. DPH-IT collaborates with Public Health and other North Carolina state government entities to provide this technological leadership.
DPH employees who need help with an IT issue should contact:
- LAN Support: Please contact your DPH-IT LAN Support Team.
- NCHAN: If you are experiencing problems using NCHAN, please call the DHHS Customer Support Center at (919) 855-3200 between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. EST and choose option 2, or email us.
- After-Hours NCHAN Support: Please page the help desk at (919) 983-3840 and enter a 10-digit call back number. A support agent will return the call within 15 minutes. Please be sure to include a description of the problem you are having and a phone number where you can be reached.
- NCPHIN (North Carolina Public Health Information Network) Web Services (including requests to begin services): Please call 919-707-5160 and you will be routed to someone who can assist you. (NCPHIN is one of several DPH-IT support teams.)
